Next week the 22 boxes of files from my years as architecture critic at the Star Tribune will go off to the Northwest Architectural Archives at the University of Minnesota. It will be a momentous moment. I am embarrassed to say they have been occupying the maid's room above our garage for the 10 years since I left the Strib. It was clear nothing was happening without a deadline so I recruited stalwart archivist Barb Bezat, former curator at the NAA, to help me organize them.
